that's even fleeting too much these days, but that's just the way it is. But, man, we got, you know, good day baseball today, suspenseful day baseball. As we speak, Minnesota, Cleveland's in the next year innings. that's a really taught series the Braves are coasting today over the Reds

reds fans sigh what my of Cleveland's in the next yearnings. That's a really taught series. The Braves are coasting today over the Reds. Reds fan, sigh. What might have been? But it's really interesting. I want to focus on the National League race. You're based out of Arizona. And the Diamondbacks are doing it again. They're actually having a better record this year than they were last year. after getting off to a pretty slow start, all of a sudden, they're the best offense in baseball.

I think this is a significantly better and deeper team, at least on paper, than last season's was.

And I think, you know, that we can discuss about the nature of baseball's postseason and how it lends to teams that narrowly

narrowly escape the regular season getting a chance to move on. But you're right. This is the

best position player group that I think this group is built. It's probably the best position

player group they've had in 20-some-odd years. The names in the rotation are better than what the results have been so far, although

both Merrill Kelly and Eduardo Rodriguez have pitched better of late.

And the bullpen has struggled here lately, but they have some quality relievers as well.

AJ Puck has not struggled.

He's throwing the ball very well.

Joe Mantiply is doing the ball pretty well. You know, Matt Apply, a former All-Star and

Justin Martinez is elite stuff if he can keep it in the strike zone. So they're a really

intriguing team. I'm a little surprised that they've hit this kind of skid. You know, they, they dropped a home series to the

Mets. The Dodgers came to town and really laid into them. And since then, they've just kind of

played okay, right? They had a three and two homestand. They dropped two out of three in Colorado.

But I think that's the Mets have been so hot that it's made things much more interesting in that

wild card race and the fact that the diamondbacks are going to have what a game and a half
