So this is always interesting with these polls because you always wonder, first thing that I think of right like we got the results but like when was the poll conducted that's the first question

i asked myself when was the poll conducted and how many people participated well we know the

answer to one of the questions uh 32 people participated in the mlb.com n l si young poll uh we don't

not know when the poll was conducted the article says that the stats are through Monday, so maybe it was around that time. But, you know, looking at the results, I think it might happen before Sunday night because it's a little bit interesting. But let's get to the results right now where Paul Skeens did win the poll. It matches up with the betting market currently. Skeens received 26 of the 32 first

place votes. Zach Wheeler of the Phillies received six of the first place votes. No other pitcher

got a vote for a first place vote. Christopher Sanchez of the Phillies coming off that eight-inning

gem that he pitched the other night on Sunday against the Tigers,

he received zero first place votes, but finished in third.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto got finished in fourth, and then Logan Webb of the Giants finished in

fifth.
