Hello and welcome to a post wrestling review of a number of recent New Japan Pro Wrestling

cards, including matches from the Soul Tour, the Death Pain Invitational, and Tanahashi

Jam culminating with today's card featuring an ad hoc gauntlet match for the last spot in

this year's G1 and two title matches.

My name is Bruce Lord, and I'm joined as I always am for these shows by Karen Peterson.

Karen, we're doing things a little bit differently today, kind of doing a smorgasbord style show from cards over the past two weeks rather than just one, you know, wake up in the morning, watch the whole show, hop on, hop on to Streamyard to talk about with you.

And we're also doing this on the free feed today and not behind the cafe paywall.

Yeah, it's the, we have a sampler. It's like post-pro-res, New Japan specific edition

to recap everything and get ready for the G1 in a couple of weeks. But yeah, it was a, I'm glad to be here.

But as we know, very much like my heart will go on, the Goto Revolution will go on and on and on and on.

Yes, yes. You know, as has been widely reported, both by yourself in W.H. Park on Post-P Perez a couple days ago and also, obviously, by John and Way, we do have a new

IWGP world champion in Zach Saber Jr. We will, of course, be getting to that match,

everything tied in with that. Still, as of right now, as of 12.52 p.m. Pacific time here on July 6th. Still no news as to when that match will be up on

New Japan World for North American or Western viewers. But for those of us who watch the

Asahi stream live, let's say, we will be talking, wink, wink, we will be talking about all of that

and everything to do with kind of the state. I feel like this is going to kind of end up being a

little bit of a State of the Union show in, you know, collectively about New Japan as we kind of

look at two weeks' worth of shows here and where things lie as we head into the G1 in a couple of weeks' time.

Much like last year, a lot of important stuff was just kind of snuck onto this pre-G1 tour, kind of at the last minute.
