And welcome back, guys. This is Zach Evanesh, and this is the Strong Life podcast. But in this episode,

And our effort, our goal, our efforts are really centered towards in New Jersey,

getting strength and conditioning to be different, really, than what it was 20, 30, 40 years ago.

Physical education in the high school setting has really not changed much. It's actually gotten less.

It's less vigorous.

But if we look at Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, Alabama, these states have strength and conditioning all day, all day, every day from the first block of the day, all the way to the last block of the day.

And there's immense power when the schools can implement strength and conditioning during the day because of the way

athletics has evolved. And also we have, you know, the typical kind of common things where kids

by their junior year, they start getting jobs, they start saving up for their car, they might

be saving up for school. And so time is crucial and you don't miss out on on kids training.

And so in New Jersey, in the private schools, we've seen it. We've seen strength and conditioning

since I got into strength and conditioning in the early 2000s, close to 25 years ago. We saw it.

But it's quite interesting that the public schools, for the most part, still refuse to do it and or health and physical education students in the undergrad.

They don't really get trained in strength and conditioning.

They might have exercise science classes, but they don't really have any training.

And so we're seeing physical education teachers really being unprepared to properly train athletes in the high school setting in New Jersey.

We're also seeing sport coaches being unprepared.
