Hey everybody, Jason here. It's Anthology Reissue Week and to celebrate we are reissuing some of our old anthology episodes.

Today we're putting out Season 2, Episode 1, which is The Road to Anthology.

It tells the story of how anthology actually began when the Beatles were still a going concern in the late 1960s

and how it actually took 25 years to get the Beatles anthology

that we know and love today onto the road. Fun behind the scenes, nothing is real fact. Even though

this was the season two opener, we recorded it in a studio on the 1st of March 2020. And that was

the last time we were sitting in a studio for a very, very, very long time,

if you can remember what happened in 2020.

Anyways, we shall be putting out more Nothing Is Real anthology episodes later in the week,

but for now, enjoy Season 2, episode one, The Road to Anthology.

Everybody thinks they know the Beatles, but how much do we really know?

Today, we are going to talk

about the Beatles anthology and we envisage a couple of podcasts scattered throughout 2020 looking

at this 1995 project because amazingly it's 25 years since the Beatles anthology came out. And at the time,

it was heralded as 25 years since the Beatles had split so we're kind of

at a recurrent point in time to have a little look at the Beatles anthology so today we're

going to look at the road to the Beatles anthology going into production and how that happened

and what made it happen broadly speaking I'm a big fan of the Beatles Amphology.

I think it's a great document and I'm glad it happened.
