This is a headgum podcast.

Hi listeners, as you may have noticed we did not release an episode last week.

This was one way of standing in solidarity with Black Lives Matter to

make space for many important conversations that are taking place across

various platforms all over the world right now. The episode you're about to

hear was recorded weeks ago and we want to make clear

that we are not going back to business as usual. As a result in part of this resurgence of energy and

urgency behind Black Lives Matter.

There has been an unearthing of allegations

in the porn industry of which we were previously unaware,

some related to racism and some related to sexual assault.

Thank you to the

followers and listeners that have contacted us via email or on social media

to let us know about some of these allegations.

The internet is a vast universe and your eyes and ears are so greatly appreciated.

The bad news, we can no longer endorse all of the platforms that we had formerly championed

on the podcast.

We always knew that a show about quote unquote ethical porn would not age well.

We are constantly learning and growing and I'm sure we will cringe looking back at many episodes of our show.

The good news, there is so much coming to light right now that had previously been swept under the rug.

We often say on the show and like to remind our listeners that we are a comedy podcast.

It's true, but it's also a statement that we have sometimes hid behind.
