Wascar Brazabon, who gave up the grand slam and then got the final out of the eighth inning, came out to pitch the ninth inning with a three-run lead. I didn't know this because we left. Me and Tracy left. Boomer did too. So I didn't hear this. This is fascinating. So the lights go out for the Devin Williams intro, and Devin Williams comes out to pitch the ninth, but Brazabon goes out to also pitch the ninth inning. And so there was mass confusion. Apparently, Mendi communicated this to Brazabon, but in his words, he was on autopilot because he gave up the grand slam. And so the umpires ruled Brazabon's got to face a hitter, which he did, got the guy out. And then Devin Williams came in with a three-run lead and one out in the ninth inning, which did feel very odd at the time when we were watching it.

And yeah, it was a huge miscommunication.

And the way it was explained after the game was this was all on Wascar Brazabon, but it's tough to just ignore that the manager is held responsible for this. I mean, he has to be. You have to make it painfully clear. Like, give me your glove type of thing. Yeah, or as soon as you see him leave the dugout, tackle them. But there was also, I think the confusion could have been because there was a contingency upon it. Right. It was if we're tied this, if we take the lead.

There was a bunch of ifs and butts and everything else. But if it's just you're done, there's no confusion. One thing that needs to happen, and I hope Carlos Mendoza realizes this, and he hasn't so far, is that Devin Williams can't be the closer. Like they need to take him out of this role and let what happened last year with the Yankees happen again, where let him recalibrate as pitching the sixth, seventh, a rate inning. Do low leverage, figure yourself out, get your confidence back, and then maybe we'll think about it. I don't want to hear, well, hey, ultimately last night, he made the pitch he needed to. I mean, he also gave up three hits to the five batters he faced and came this close to blow in the game. I mean, I'm sorry. Don't tell how he struck out the last hitter. So, I want to say, last night, I officially, I'm 55, but I came an old man last night

because of all the hate from Twitter and everything else. Like, I thought the Giants had a pretty

solid draft and so did most quote unquote experts. Right. But as I was tuning in to different

things on like YouTube, including some of Sean stuff, the comments were so, like, hateful and

pathetic. It's like, I may as well just go and start yelling at kids to get off my

lawn and go buy compression socks. The other thing I want to do want to mention is could Malik

neighbors play a full season before he starts acting like a diva? Like I am really tired of his

churlish attitude. I know he backtracked a little bit off of what he initially said.
