There are so many video game anniversaries.

Can't believe that.

Like milestone video game anniversary.

So we really want to go through all of them and talk about what we think Nintendo might do to celebrate,

or basically not acknowledge, some of these.

Yeah.

Yeah.

26 is really the year of anniversaries.

Our friend Genki put together this handy-dandy list,

and I cannot believe how many franchises are celebrating

beyond 25 years or more.

Let's just quickly run through 25th anniversaries.

Halo, Devil May Cry, Onimusia, Animal Crossing,

Pickman, Luigi's Mansion, and Golden Sun, 30th.

Pokemon, Resident Evil, Persona, Dead or Alive, Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider,

35th, Sannick, Sonic, 40th, Zelda, Dragon Quest, Metroid, Castlevania, and Kittakeras.

What?

Whoa.

It's ridiculous.

Milestone anniversaries, and I guess a lot of things came out 40 years ago from 2026 and, and, uh, yeah, it's called an NES. NES. That's what it's called. It's called a Famicom. The Famicom. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, exactly. We feel old, but we got to go through some of these anniversaries and talk about what we think Nintendo will be doing. They may be supporting some more than others. And yeah, we want to get into that. Yeah, the Nintendo approach is interesting in contrast to a lot of these other companies who we are already seeing them, making posts, acknowledging these, trying to get fans excited. Like, look, we have this dragon quest with this cute slime. Oh, a little slime with this bowtie. At first I thought that was a bowtie. Maybe it's not.

I don't know. Just a ribbon. Yes. We've seen Resident Evil. We have seen Halo already getting

out there. So it's like there's so many. It's like a rush to claim the attention.
