episode 42 of Terro Bites, the podcast where I just showed short entertaining bite-sized lessons on how to retero. For today's

episode our topic is the nine of cups. So let's begin. All right guys, I'm an optimist, so naturally I love this card.

Next to the sun, the Nine of Cups is one of those cards I love to see turn up in my tarot reading, well as well as the tarot readings that I do for others.

You know it's the wish card after all and who doesn't want their wishes to come true. You know there are actually three

wish cards in the tarot deck and I might have mentioned those before in a previous

podcast. The Nine of Cups, the Seven of Cups, and the star are my wish cards. And if I see them all together in a spread, it's the very best omen possible.

I considered a sign not just to make a wish but also to wish big.

All right let's take a look at some of the symbols in the nine of cups.

So you might notice the nine cups neatly lined up behind the guy.

So these symbolize abundance or having everything that you could possibly want.

I like to say it's like having your ducks in a row.

You may also notice that the figure has crossed arms.

Now, those crossed arms can indicate contentment or smugness.

The feeling you know when you're in a really good place, that's what those arms convey.

But you know, they also remind me of something else.

Do you remember that old television show I Dream a Genie?

In that show a genie lived with an astronaut and she would cross her arms just like the guy in his card,

and then she would blink her eyes and make the astronaut,

the astronaut's wishes come true.

Now, of course, the astronaut wasn't always the brightest bulb,

...
