I'm Aaron. And we have watched and rewatch this episode in Nimoway several times now and we're

ready to discuss it. So let's jump right into this, starting with just to clarify where we're going

with this. Starts out the way we're going to be discussing it with past

flashbacks from hundreds of years ago. And then there are the past events from six weeks ago or so

now that they're starting to catch up. And then there's that one scene that's from present day

storybook. So just in case you are slightly confused, that's kind of how it works.

That's how we'll have our conversation here. So it starts out a thousand years before the age of

Arthur. There was this little comment while they were in this desert area that I think tells us

a little bit more about Merlin. He said they wouldn't trail

escaped generals into this, much less foot soldiers. Both Merlin and the other guy had ropes

around their arms. So I was thinking that they're not talking about that they deserted an army because why would

generals desert an army or some kind of military force. I think they were captured in battle

and they were only simple foot soldiers. And because of that comparison, whoever they're running

away from wouldn't come into this area to try

and recapture generals, let alone these two guys, who are, I presume, foot soldiers in some kind of

battle. Yes. Now, I thought they were running from foot soldiers, but I didn't have a clear

either time understanding of what was said.

But whatever it was, I think they were escaped from somewhere because they had these

ropes tied around them that looked like they were cut or ripped. Both of them had them.

So maybe they were tied to each other. Maybe they were tied to something and escaped.
