We're going to have a good guest later today, Stu, is the new head football coach at Oregon, Dan Lannning.

We got a lot to talk to him as he begins his first spring as a head

coach coming off just winning a national title with the Georgia Bulldogs. And it's a team he's

going to see very early in his tenure when he faces them with the ducks. But before we get into that,

you had a story that went up on Friday

late in the day that was a very interesting look at NIL, um, from a contract you reviewed to a big

money. For people who I think look at NIL and now they're a little bit numb to it, I think they see a lot of visibility.

And I'm not sure they know what to make of the dollar figures.

And I also think one of the things that has been kind of interesting for a lot of people is what exactly does this mean from a recruiting standpoint?

Because we've seen a bunch of these collectives.

And now we've written a lot of stories at The Athletic between David Oven's story on Tennessee. Seth Emerson did one recently on Georgia

this week and now your story kind of on the flip side of it coming from an attorney who's working

some of these deals. If people have not seen your story yet, what do you want them to know?

Right.

So like you said, I think people became numb pretty quickly to the concept of,

oh, athletes can do endorsement deals now.

They show up in ads.

Like that's not really the story of NIL anymore.

The story of NIL is these collectives.
