we're talking about Eurobasket, as we've been doing this week here on the DNBA show, on the DNVR Nuggets podcast. I am Brendan Vote in the host seat today. Back from Montenegro, not Serbia, close. And Dev, Super superstar, Deb also joining me on a Saturday show. I am also back. I didn't go anywhere cool or anything like that. I just was not here. And they called me up. They said there was no Harrison, no Adam. I said, sign me up. We needed a reinforcement. We called Din Deb. We're sorry for no watch alone today and the slight delay to get this show off the ground.

There were some technical difficulties for us on a Saturday, big day at the bar.

They're behind us now.

And so is that third game in Eurobasket and group play for Team Serbia.

They win 84 to 80 today over Team Latvia.

That is going to be their third win of the tournament already in

group play and that's enough guys to qualify them for the round of 16. They join Germany as the teams

that have qualified so far. It was not exactly a resounding win. I think it was a pretty

anxious one for Serbian's fans. It got

a little tight there in the end. Let's do a little quick recap, shall we? A fast breakdown. A fast

breakdown, a brief, a brief remembrance. An abridged retelling of the game before we get

into our big takeaways. First of all, the first note is that a lot of Yokic in the first quarter. In fact, it was all Yokic and Petrachev in the first quarter. Yokic scored 12. I think Petrishv added six or eight points early on. And that stood out. Juxtaposed with the last game where it was maybe less of a Yokic effort, right off the bat, tons of Yokic in this one. Yokic would go to the bench. Latvia would cut the lead to two. Pesh would not wait.

Yokic would come back in at the 715 mark, which is early for him in the rotation.

Immediately he gets a steal and converts an and one in transition. But Khrastap's Porzingas fouled him from behind.
