1:28.0	In that one month, he went on a killing spree ending the lives of four people, three of whom he had never met, and victims he
1:35.8	seemingly picked at random. Claiming to be guided by the instructions of the Egyptian god Apophis, who was depicted as a snake in ancient art.
1:47.0	Nico shot and killed his four victims to appease the god, who he claimed kept him awake until he followed through with the orders.
1:56.0	But those who testified against him described him as a narcissistic man whose main motive was money.
2:10.0	Nico Jenkins was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 16th, 1986.
2:15.0	To say that he had a troubled childhood would be an understatement. His parents, Lori and David, had a violent relationship, which they didn't hide from their children.
2:22.0	Nico and his siblings, Erica, which they didn't hide from their children.
2:23.0	Nico and his siblings, Erica and Melanie,
2:25.8	grew up witnessing regular and extreme violence in the home.
2:30.2	And Nico would later speak to mental health professionals about the physical abuse and neglect that he suffered as a child.
2:39.0	Lori and David were well known to local police and were in and out of prison on felony charges during their children's early years.
