And we're so happy to have you here with us this week.

And today's show, we're going to be looking at nightmares and explore what they are and

the possibility of psychic attacks while you sleep.

Now Deb and I have talked a lot about psychic protection and the importance of putting

up barriers around your aura and working with your energy to keep it safe and protected,

and I don't think we've ever talked on this show about the importance of protecting

your energy while you sleep.

There hasn't been a lot of research into this phenomenon.

In fact, dreams and REM sleep weren't fully researched until the 1950s.

Still, everyone has experienced at least one nightmare and sure most of these are just

our subconscious way of releasing stress and confronting repressed fears.

But today we're going to look at some stories that point to maybe something else going

on that are so conscious mind acting out.

So before we get into that spooky stuff, let's just look at some history of dreams.

As I'm sure most of you know, dreams have been studied, recorded, and interpreted since

the beginning of time.

The first recorded dream dates back to 2700 BCE when the Sumerian King Gidea, Dremte saw

men and women with the help of animals carrying large objects.

We interpreted this as a sign that the gods wanted to build a temple.

Dreams are referenced in all major religious texts.
