I'm Jeff Shackman and I'm the host of a local talk show.

It's a very great place to live in terms of its safety, which is why this crime was so dramatic.

The crime happened on Halloween night of 2004.

There were three women living at the home on Dorset Street, Adrienne Insania, Leslie Misara,

and Lauren Mianza.

The intruder made his way to the house, sat outside the front window, smoked at least a couple

of cigarettes that we know of, went through the window, made his way upstairs, and committed

to brutal, horrible murders.

Adrienne was one of my best friends.

She never, ever turned us down.

If we needed something, her family and friends.

We were always first.

We always knew that.
