I've tried to make it extra chilling

based on when this one releases. Happy Halloween everybody. Time now for the

tale of sleep paralysis. Sherry Voo stares down at the bed in the sterile halogen bulb-lit hospital room

on the 8th floor of the St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco's

lower Knob Hill neighborhood. Her hard-working, handsome, mischievous but also

dutiful 23-year-old son and first-born child Kevin lays comatose before her.

She and the other members of her family that share her household or with her in the room.

And they're all just as scared as they are confused.

He was fine.

He was totally fine when he went to bed just the night before.

He hadn't been in a car accident or slipped and fallen down.

Nothing. He hadn't been attacked. Hadn't been sick. or slipped and fallen down, nothing.

He hadn't been attacked, hadn't been sick.

Kevin had never had any major health problems before in his entire life.

He'd never even broken a bone.

The most medically concerning issue he had ever had growing

up was a mild case of appendicitis that didn't require surgery. Up until yesterday, Kevin

had appeared to be the picture of health in every conceivable way.

Cherry assumed he'd probably experiment with drugs like weed and magic mushrooms and maybe more.
