Sometimes an episode of the Twilight Zone is too big for a regular episode of the Twilight Zone podcast,

which is why last time round we had an extended addition to look at nightmare at 20,000 feet in all of its forms.

But even after that two and a half hour podcast, there is still some unfinished business.

Now as we know, nightmare at 20,000 feet was supposed to be covered two years ago in 2022.

And I even had a nightmare at 20,000 feet months over at the After Hours Club on

Patreon with the reading, Twilight Zone radio a commentary all kinds of stuff it was going to be a big

deal but unfortunately life just got very busy at the time and because this was a landmark episode

and I wanted to give it that extra special attention, I just wouldn't have been able to do that.

I was gearing up for it though and I even put our regular poll over on the After Hours Club on Patreon for members to vote and comment on Nightmare at 20,000 feet.

So before we get to anything else, why don't we tackle that?

Now at the time, 53 members voted and of them, 50 called it top tier, three voted it mid tier and nobody at all voted it bottom tier.

So probably not very surprising results there.

And we had a few comments from members.

Our old friend Uncommon NASA said it's top tier but at the bottom of the top tier hashtag hot take mark moustall said

top tier even with the chat doing his thing and the teddy bear costume chat boikin said not a personal

favorite but i'd say clearly top tier it's one everyone knows and the suspense is palpable. My good friend Mark Ramsey said,

I hope to write something half that good one day. Well, Mark is doing good stuff in the podcast

and space all the time, so I think he's on the road to that for sure. Jay Howard said top tier,

it has Shatner and Richard Donner directing, Matheson's script, just perfect.

Longtime friends of the show, Vera Bible, said top tier, though I think Shatner's best TZ work is a nick of time.
