You had loved ones. So how did you get from there to here?

So my family of Jamaican origin, I came from Brickson, South London, where during the era called the Wind Rush era, my grandparents came over on the boats.

I don't even know what type of boat it was in that era, but my grandparents came over in the 60s to the UK after World War II.
