Hello again, fiends, and welcome back to Nightmare on Film Street, the horror movie podcast for the casually obsessed on John.

And this week, Kim is sick.

Kim actually has pneumonia.

It's really doing a number on her, but she's doing okay.

This week, we are bringing you an interview that we did with writer-director Brandon Christensen.

You probably remember some of his movies.

We've had him on the podcast before.

You know, we've talked about Stillborn. We've talked about Z and Superhost. He also directed a movie

called The Puppet Man, which has some of the grossest kills of the year when that movie came

out. And today he's back on the show to talk about his newest film, Night of the Reaper.

This is a babysitter- slasher set at Halloween

with a really cool synth soundtrack. It's a slasher who done it. And it's going to be streaming

on Shudder this weekend. We love talking with Brandon Christensen because he is a true indie

filmmaker who isn't afraid to just roll up his sleeves and get shit done.

He does a lot of VFX work for his own movies and for a lot of other people. We talk about it a

little bit in this podcast. And part of it's just because they didn't have the money to do VFX work

on his first film. So he just rolled up his sleeves, figured it out,

and that's kind of what he does as a side project now. We really enjoyed this movie, and we always
