I just felt led to call us tonight to a time of prayer, not just because of 9-11, but as a follow-up to my

sermon on Sunday, because we need to pray for our country. And so thank you for being here tonight.

This is going to be a night of prayer.

And so this is the format. That's what we're going to be a night of prayer. And so this is the format.

That's what we're going to do.

I'm going to read a scripture verse, going to kind of, you know, set the stage for this

evening.

And then I'm grateful for our pastors on staff who are going to each take turns coming up here to the podium,

and they're each going to pray for one of those seven issues that I brought up on Sunday

in terms of praying for our country.

And so this is how we'd like you to participate.

Each pastor's going to come up, take five minutes on that particular

topic, and call you to corporate prayer. So this is how you can corporately pray. You can either

join together with two or three or four people in kind of like a little huddle, or you can

just pray by yourself just sit

there with by yourself um don't feel obligated to have to you know some people are like i don't want to

socialize that's fine you don't have to socialize um and you certainly don't have to pray out loud

this can be a time of just you sit by yourself you pray quietly quietly, or in small little groups, but I'd love to hear

what I, what I refer to as a holy rumble in the house of the Lord. Like if several of you just

in little small groups or just by yourself, you just want to be, you know, praying out loud,

not in a way that distracts, draws attention to you, but if we can just have a symphony of some

quiet praying and have like a holy rumble in the house of the Lord, I think that would be a sweet
