Today, we talked to Nita Manzor, creator of the new peacock comedy, We Are Lady Parts.

Manzor wanted her show about an all-female Muslim punk band in London to be funny, of course.

But as a Muslim woman writing about very underrepresented characters, she also felt heavy responsibility.

The internet helped her cope.

That is definitely part of my process and one that I've told other people whenever they get stressed and like, just go to YouTube and whatever your favorite film is, watch your favorite scene and then be like, oh yeah, cool.

And then you're ready to go, I think.
