enactment of the franchise that serves as the very foundation of the absolutely and profoundly

beautiful, and yet currently fragile and terrifyingly precarious experiment known as

American democracy. And you are probably also holding your breath, wringing your hands,

and shoveling Maylocks down your gullet by the handful as you wait to find out what we will

all learn tonight and in the days, or possibly, God forbid,
