Though she started an improv, Nicole has grown to a confident defined stand-up comedian in her own right.

Nicole talked about what she wants to talk about and demands you pay attention and laugh.

As we discussed in the interview, Nicole considered dedicating her entire new half-hour special,

aggressively adorable, which premiered on Netflix

earlier this month as part of the Comedians of the World Series to Being Fat.

Her team talked her out of it, so she said on essentially dedicating the first 15 minutes to the topic.

But the impact is still made.

I can't think of a comedian who has approached the topic so unflinchingly.

She literally couldn't even think of what a self-deprecating joke could be when I asked.
