Nicole has moved to a new house in a place far away from all her friends, and she is not very happy.

The new house is an old farmhouse and her mom loves it.

But Nicole can't believe her mom brought her here.

The old house is so boring. The only interesting thing about her new place is an old barn,

but her mom has told her she is not allowed to go inside.

Nicole was wandering around the dusty floors of the old farmhouse that her mother had insisted they move to, singing to herself,

which she did whenever she was super bored,

as she was now.

The house was big, even bigger than their last one, and was filled with strange corners and

shadows that she was sure whispered her songs back to her, though she couldn't quite hear if they were in tune.

Her mother was busy unpacking and setting up, and Nicole knew no one in this strange place with red mud and no
