I'm afraid I don't quite understand Nicole's mother said as she sat and

listened to Nicole with a cup of tea she had prepared earlier.

I get that you feel the garden is a magical place.

I feel that way about the farm in Prince Edward Island.

No, mom, I mean it literally. The garden is magical. There is no other way to explain

it. The space went from like this stinky weed-filled bumpy place to lush flowers and vegetables, practically overnight, Nicole said.

Nicole, I know you have been working hard in your garden, and knowing how hard you work, you likely

made some progress.

But I don't think you need to exaggerate.

When I look out there, all I see is that ever-present

fog and tall grass. It's still a bit wild over there. I don't know why you don't see what I see mom. Maybe you need to come and see it with me.
