It's Destin Choice and I wanted to get on here and talk about why the older generation tends to be intimidated by the younger generation.

One of the first things that made me think about this is Nicki Minaj.

And then there was something that happened a few months ago.

That if I wasn't going to do it before, something happened a couple months ago.

What happened?

I don't want to talk about it.

But I'll say that sometimes people can push you so much that they push you all the way into

your next calling, into your next blessing, into your next life.

Sometimes I look at the shit Nikonaj is doing recently and I think to myself, okay, it's

always given the vibe that she was conservative about what women should be and how men

should be.

She's always gave traditional values, polished Christian woman who, you know, does what she does to sell records.

But sometimes I look at the shit Nikki does and I think to myself, what the fuck is she scared

of?

So I feel like someone like Nikki Minaj has legacy anxiety.

She hasn't fully processed the grief of having to pave the way and drilled through the tunnel to pave a lane for herself when people are able to eat off of the roads that she's been able to pave.

She hasn't fully processed the grief of the idea that it's not that she's replaceable, but the fact that she has to

kind of share space with a lot of people that didn't do nearly as half as work as she did.

Coming up in an era where streaming didn't dominate, coming in an era where back then,

she still had to get pure sales, where if you even sold 50,000 units, that wasn't enough

back then.
