So, you're not hearing our usual intro music because a little peel behind the

ending here. We recorded a podcast today Wednesday afternoon and within an hour

probably of finishing recording set podcast. We found out that Nick Sabin and

Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne tested positive for COVID. So we recorded

an entire episode with the context that Alabama and Georgia would be happy

happening as relatively normal circumstances. So as you listen to the rest of this

podcast, which is like, as you're looking at the time, it's like a two-hour

podcast. Keep that. Yeah, it was close to that. But keep that in mind. But we

wanted to just be able to address the big issue of what we found out about

today. And that is the first SEC head coach who has tested positive for

COVID. Marlar, your initial reaction to this was what? I mean, devastated from a

standpoint of like coach savings, obviously, like, meant a lot to the game of

college football, the SEC, the University of Alabama for sure. More anything, I

was, I reached out to Kristen because I was just concerned because I had to go

with that with my parent. Nick Sabin's daughter. Yeah. And so I was, my first

reaction was like to check in on her because I knew when I found out my mom had it,

I was a mess. Just an absolute mess. And you know, there's a lot of unknowns.

I think there are more unknowns at the time and all that kind of stuff. But you

know, you just, I think it's a parent or a child. You have a tendency just to worry

about, you know, like the, the other. So that was my initial reaction. I hate it

for this game because it's like this, this should be the biggest game of the

year. It hands down. It should be like, and, and, and, and represent everything
