First off, Mego, you're killing it on this show.

I love hearing you.

You're doing a great job. Nothing against you. No problem. Nothing against the queen, but I love it. Maybe Wiggy Curtis, I don't know, from an athlete's perspective, especially one with guaranteed contracts. You've got to assume, and I know that's dangerous, but you think ICF would have addressed all this stuff behind the scenes as far as the too many people that we don't know controversy, and that the Red Sox haven't taken care of that, and that's why he's gone public with it.

Yeah, that's a good point.

What leverage? What leverage would Craig Bresol have over him with a guaranteed contract?

Why can't he just express what he means?

Is he afraid he's not going to get a future contract with another team

or get traded to a better team, perhaps?

I mean, I just don't understand why he can't say what he means.

Because we know, based on what IKF told us before, in his journey and his path and where he is as a major leaguer, he realizes he doesn't have much leverage.

Remember he said every day I'm fighting just to keep a job.

So that he's not like a, you know, a guy who's,'t know um uh Raphael Devers who got 30 million

and come out and say here's what I want to say he's just I've heard I've heard people on this

radio station and elsewhere speculate that the original comment was uh about family I you know I don't buy that because he said people we don't know.

He said there's too many people we don't know around here.
