I may not have the power of college football commissioner yet, but I do as of tonight have the power of realignment,

which as far as I'm concerned is like college football's equivalent of the power of flight.

And we're going to do some work, some much-needed and much fabled work realignment on college football

tonight. Not to mention I got a whole lot of other stuff. We're jam-packed high atop a bustling downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It is Thursday night, March 7th, the year of our Lord

2004. Let's just delve into pure fantasy land for a second. Forget about the rules, forget about

everything else, forget about media rights deals. If you had the power to make your perfectly aligned sport, nothing's off the table.

What would it look like?

Nick Saban's been talking a lot.

He signed with ESPN and he didn't wait long to start talking and several things got said yesterday

and we were going to dive into some of those today.

I've got spring practice intel starting to pour into Pate State headquarters from all

corners of the country, all that. Plus, one of the worst bits of criticism that I think

exists in the college football space about coaches and teams, and it's just time. Here we are early March.

I think it's time to address it. We've got to eradicate this from our psyche. They're watching

us in Loudoun, Tennessee, Boise, Idaho, Cochran, Georgia, San Diego, California. It was a busy day for us

today. I think we booked nine trips today. So the Pate State Speaker series, the whole

tour, the whole spring tour is it's already kicked off, but it's really about to kick off.
