Welcome in to another special edition of the What's Right with Nick Wright podcast and YouTube show the fourth part of our continuing series the 50 greatest players of the last 50 years in the NBA.

We get to players 39 through 35 today. If you haven't listened or watched the previous episodes,

I highly recommend you do.

So the first episode we lay out, the rules, the parameters,

who was too old to make the cut,

and the honorable mentions, the guys who just missed

and then we next few episodes we get from players 50 through 40 as I said today are

players 39 through 35 and it's a perfect little quintet of players because player 39 is not a

controversial inclusion but incredibly difficult to rank and player 35. Also I

don't believe we be a controversial inclusion,

but maybe the single most difficult player to rank,

but they are difficult to rank for very different reasons.

So we will start with player number 39.

One of the older players on the entire list,

player 39 is none other than Bill Walton.

Number 39, Bill Walton. Bill Walton. Number 39, Bill Walton is a two-time NBA champion.

He won the 1978 NBA MVP and finished second the previous year.

However, he is only one time,

first-team-all-MBA, only one-time second-team-all-MBA.

He did win a rebounding title, a blocks title, and later in his career a sixth man of the year,

and as you can see, two-time all defense.

So he started his career as the way he finished his college career as one of the greatest players ever.
