Our guest today is Nick Russell, who started snowboarding in the half pipe, then fell in love with riding pow, and then developed a passion for splitboarding and splitboard mountaineering, which you can see him doing in his appearances in several episodes of Cody Townsend's The 50 Project. So in this conversation,

Nick and I talk about the 50 Project. We talk about Nick's background and how he came to be a

splitboarder sponsored by Red Bull and how his recent signing with Wonder Alpine came about.

And one thing I should say, Nick and I talk a good bit about Cody's questionable behavior

while the two of them were stuck in a tent.

And I asked Cody about this, of course.

but just where his headspace was at the time.
