The Two years ago now I had one of the best times of my life over in Binghamton, New York for Sailing Fest 2019, the 60th anniversary of the Twilight Zone.

The journey was long, the weather was cold, but the welcome was warm, and I said to myself

that if the stars aligned for as many years as I could, I would do my best to go back.

Now unfortunately for me, the stars haven't aligned this year,

but hopefully, if you're in the US at least, maybe they could align for you.

So once again to update us on Sailing Fest and everything going on with the Rod Sailing Memorial Foundation,

please welcome its president, Nick Parisi.

So it's my great pleasure to welcome back, the president of the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation, and my friend Nick Parisi, Nick, welcome back to the Twilight Zone podcast. Tom, it is great to be with you again. Thanks so much for having me. It's so good to see you, man. You're looking healthy. You're looking excited. How's things, you know, before we get into the business side of the stuff, how you? How are you doing with this, all this crazy stuff going on in the world? I'm doing okay. So thanks for asking. You look good as well. I like to see you when you're seated so you're not so high above me. That's, that's nice. But, yeah, no, everybody here is good, you know, been, you know, fully vacs for months, you know, several months and everything. And, you know, nobody's, thankfully, nobody close and nobody in the family has gotten COVID or anything like that. So everybody's good that way. And, you know, we're doing okay. It's, you know, the whole country is a little crazy here, you know. Well, I shouldn't say the whole country. A significant portion of it is crazy. And so we've got to deal with that. The non-crazy part of the country has to deal with the crazy part of the country. And so that's a little difficult. But other than that, you know, everything is, everything's pretty good. Good, good. So I guess on the business side of things we have you know the

running of the rod sailing memorial foundation how's that been over the past year or so two years even

i guess it's been exciting it's uh you know there's been a lot of projects in the works and and

some of them finally coming to fruition so it's been, it's been nice to see the,

you know, expanded interest in Rod Serling and the foundation. We've had, you know, lots and

lots of new members join over the last year and donate and, you know, and we're getting ready

for our big event, Serling Fest next month. So, I mean, it's, it's been busy and exciting, and

I'm happy with all of it. One of the things that I've really enjoyed coming out of the

foundation over the last year is the newsletter, this new expanded, if it's so much into 11 pages,

you know, it's not a 10-minute read. It's, you know, you sit down and you get a cup of coffee and you read this thing. Tell me about that, man. Well, I'm actually very happy that you enjoy it and happy that you mentioned it, because, yeah, we have put a lot of work into it. The foundation over the past year has one of our new board members, Gail Flug, is a professional designer. So she's been designing

the newsletter for us and it looks fantastic. And we've been able to put a lot of content into it.

The people, you know, my fellow board members have really stepped up to, you know, contribute some

really significant, you know, pieces for it. And so it's really
