Summary

POP 3:

I break down the controversy surrounding The Viall Files after Nick & Natalie’s interview with Austen Kroll sparked backlash for crossing a line, prompting Cameran Eubanks to publicly call for an apology that has yet to happen. I also unpack the ongoing Beckham family drama after Nicola Peltz deleted all Instagram posts tied to the Beckham family, fueling reports of serious tension with Brooklyn Beckham and parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Plus, defense attorney Alan Jackson addresses why he dropped Nick Reiner as a client, firmly denying money played a role as speculation grows.

DEEP DIVE:

I recap Episodes 1 through 3 of The Traitors Season 4, including the shocking Traitor selection twist and how production actually chooses Traitors. From Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard Bassett’s gameplay styles to Rob Rausch emerging as a standout pick, the Traitor lineup is a reality TV fan’s dream but already causing strategic fallout. Early murders shocked Big Brother and Survivor fans, while banishments and reveals shifted the power dynamics fast. I admit I was bamboozled by Donna Kelce, and close it out with predictions on who is most vulnerable heading into the next round.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

A Scandoval update! Three years later! As Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval reach a conditional settlement in their legal battle over the sale of their shared home. With key deadlines approaching, the case could still head to trial if terms are not met. Proof that years later, the fallout from Vanderpump Rules’ biggest scandal is far from over.

Hello everyone and welcome in to another episode of Morgan's Pop Talks, breaking out the latest

0:09.3

in reality TV and pop culture. We have so much to discuss today. The first three episodes of

0:16.1

The Traders dropped. We have to talk about this now viral interview from the Vile Files with Austin Kroll

0:22.2

from Southern Charm. But first things first, the top of the show rant. If you guys were following

0:27.8

along this weekend on the socials, you know that I was up in Pittsburgh for Carl Radke's book tour.

0:35.1

He is doing a multi-city book tour for his new memoir, Cake Eater,

0:40.6

which let me say I got the opportunity to read early last year before it came out around

0:47.4

Thanksgiving. I got an advanced copy. And, you know, I've read a handful of reality TV memoirs.

0:52.3

It's part of the job. And not that any of them are bad, but like a lot of

0:57.7

them are just kind of fluff, you know, how they got on reality TV, what their life was like before

1:02.5

that, you know, maybe little tidbits of information that we didn't know about big storylines. But

1:08.7

Carl Radke's book is the best, like,

1:11.6

reality TV memoir that I have read. It's incredibly deep. It's incredibly vulnerable and personal.

1:18.4

And it, you know, chronicles everything that we know about Carl, but it goes way deeper.

1:23.7

And I think, you know, the message that I just walked away from it with is even though we've

1:28.7

been watching these people on TV for 10 years, like, we think we know them. We don't because

1:33.6

we know that Carl has a deep story, you know, with his addiction issues, family dynamic, you know,

1:40.6

being on reality TV, finding sobriety, going through a very public breakup. You know,

1:45.2

there's just a lot more to Carl than meets the eye. So I went to Pittsburgh this weekend for one

1:52.0

of his book signings. And then I also got to interview him for the podcast. And let me tell you,

1:56.3

it is a good interview. I'm not just to my own horn.

2:01.3

I am a little bit, but that's going to come out closer to the Summer House premiere,
