Our guest for this episode is Nick Kroll, comedian, actor,

co-creator of Kroll Show, Ohol, and Broadway, and most recently the animated Big Mouth,

whose fantastic second season premiered on Netflix this past weekend. Big Mouth is a no-punch-pulled look at puberty,

told them the only way that can do the fraught time period justice, with hormone monsters and anthropomorphize pubic hair.

The show is set today, but is based on Nick's own middle school growing up with Big Mouth, co-creator and comedy writer Andrew Goldberg,

in which Nick was an extremely late bloomer and Andrew an extremely early one.

The character of Andrew, which you'll hear in the scene Nick Picked, is voiced by John Mulaney,

Nick's longtime collaborator, and Past Good One Guest.

Nick voices Nick, as well as a bunch of other characters on the show, including Andrew's hormone monster Maurice and Lola the early

blooming popular girl Andrew's on a date with. Both are here in this scene.

Lola is mad at Andrew because he wouldn't pants her even though it's National Pantsing Week.

In the prior scene, Lola expressed his frustration by Pantsing Nick

to the point his underwear came down, showing his penis to the entire school, including his crush, an event, as we discuss,

based on real life Nick's own childhood.
