I can recall when I was small that elf came round to stay.

Every night she'd cause her umpice and just sit around all day.

We find her hiding every morning Mama put her in her place

And she sit there looking light

But her wouldn't melt with a smile across her face

Christmas Day was yesterday

now that elf has disappeared
