Before we start, I need to address something.

I've been doing the podcast for five, actually over five years,

some 275 episodes.

Over the weekend, for the first time, I had to permanently take down a past episode.

The guest and some of you may not be surprised was at one point Johnny Carson's tennis instructor.

The reason I originally reached out to this individual as a guest

was because he was interviewed for the Carson PBS American Masters.

While recording with him like some of you, I had my doubts on many of his stories.

Having these doubts, I reached out to somebody successful in entertainment who personally knew him who

told me he was completely legit.

That greatly surprised me.

So with this individual being interviewed for the Carson PBS American Masters and someone

in entertainment vouching for him, the episode stayed up. Over time, I still had my doubts.

So after two years talking to multiple unnamed sources, I can

definitively say the vast majority of what this guest said was not true. I do believe he was at

one point Carson's tennis instructor as well as a few stories he mentioned near

the top of the episode. My background as most of you know has been working behind the scenes in

television, performing and writing comedy videos, as well as hosting this

podcast. I am not a journalist. That being said I take complete responsibility. I want to

deeply apologize to everyone who listened to this particular episode And now this week's podcast.

I knew this is where comedy was.
