Nicholas, always welcome here, one of my favorite people,

always a random, meandering, delightful chat

with this very talented young actor and a lot to talk about he's got a

lot going on as I said this summary he's got not one but two films that you should

check out Tolkien is now in theaters and it is as the name would suggest a bit of a biopick

it captures at least an important portion of JR Tolkien life. He is of course the eminent author who created the War of the

Ring saga and the Hobbit and much more and it's a really well told story. It stars

Nicholas alongside Lily Collins and talks about

Jerry Tolkin's kind of band of brothers,

you know, as he came to a came of age rather and how their influence on him and vice versa influenced his work and life, not to mention his experiences in World War I and how those kind of shaped his work and life going forward.

Well worth checking out if you get the opportunity.

Also of course we touch on a little bit his upcoming role in X-Men Dark Phoenix, which may or may not, we don't really know,

like it may be the last go-round for this great ensemble of actors playing the X-Men.

I mean, you know, with the Disney Fox merger,

it's unclear what they're going to do with X-Men,

but at least this summer, we know
