Authorities say he was armed with knives and two guns, including a shotgun.

He is a teacher from Torrance, California. He took a train to Washington and checked into the hotel. He allegedly sent his family a message just before the attack, describing himself

as a friendly federal assassin. A California teacher would have this sort of view?

I hate to hear that.

He's got to be practically genius, smart guy.

He got his engineering degree at Cal Tech for crying out loud.

But a nut job or some sort or swayed by internet, whatever.

Thought he might be able to take out a substantial part of the cabinet.

The president and several of his secretary.

Do you have a sense of how close he actually got to being able to squeeze off shots in that direction?
