This story is about a little mouse named Nibbles.

Nibbles is getting up and getting ready to go out and play with his friends.

This is the first time he has been allowed to go out since Binks, the cat has been around.

Nibbles complains about breakfast and the lack of food.

And then he hears about the dog, Rufus, who has bags and bags of food, and decides to go

and talk to him about it.

Nibbles the mouse.

With the sound of the rooster crowing, Nibbles knew it was time to get out of bed and start

his day.

He let out a great big yawn, stretched, and walked over to his little mirror and water bowl

to wash his face and brush his teeth.

Today he had plans to go play with his friends on the other side of the barn.

The farthest his parents have let him travel ever since Binks was allowed out of the house

and started prowling around the barn yard.

He certainly was making life for us young ones much less fun.

Nibbles arrived at the kitchen table to see bread and cheese with powdered milk for breakfast.
