We have covered a lot of ground, whether it's with George Pickens and the Cowboys, Aaron Rogers, and the Steelers. If you missed it, about an hour and 20 minutes ago, that Adam Schaefter tweeted out that the Steelers have placed a right of first refusal tag on Aaron Rogers, meaning he can accept the 10% raise.

But after training camp starts, he cannot sign anywhere else.

But Pittsburgh, some theories sounding out there as to what

the team and or Rogers may be up to but clearly it looks to me like one of two things is

happening either Rogers is playing footsie under the table with somebody else, or at least saying he is,

to try and squeeze a few extra dollars out of the Steelers,

or the Steelers are growing somewhat tired of waiting for Rogers to come in.

And let me be clear, the Steelers are more than willing, Mike McCarthy included, according to what I've been told anyway, the Steelers are more than willing to only have Rogers show up for the mandatory elements of the work this spring, i.e. the three-day mandatory mini-camp at the end of May.

I don't think they would have a problem at all with two young quarterbacks who need reps

with Rogers not being there for the voluntary portions of those workouts.

But maybe they're just tired of sitting and waiting and waiting and sitting and want to cover their rear ends a little bit with this right of first refusal tag.
