And the NBA, it's looking like it's going to start around their Martin Luther King Day. January 1st is what, uh, is what Adam Silver was speculating.

Which is good news if you're the NBA because you want to compete directly with the NFL.

Yeah, I honestly, and I read a tweet from Chris Mannix yesterday that said Martin Luther King Day is the day that's been kicked around.

And that makes all the sense in the world because you're not going to start on a weekend because you have NFL playoff games both of the first two weekends in January. And there's really no weight to let's start Tuesday, January 5th. You know what I mean? You need to bring it in with a bang. You bring it in on Martin Luther King Day. That makes all the sense. You get the most publicity. It doesn't go up against NFL football and away you go. Plus, you're doing, you can, you know, the players that want to spread the message of racial rights matters. Sure. That's an appropriate symbolic day to do so.

Yeah, and you also have a nice little break there, you know, what, like a week later between the

or the, you know, the conference championships and the Super Bowl.

So you've also got that little window where you can boost the ratings.

Also, Rich, now that we're talking about this, you can't have, obviously, an 82

game season.

I mean, the NBA had wanted to jam as many games in as possible, and they were saying, well, if we start in December, we can get 82 games in. This takes that off the table. They're going to have an 82 game season. Oh, I don't want to. That's what Silver said. And I don't know how you can do that, but I mean, I don't have obviously no problem with it. How do you do that?
