And I buried this for 10 years, 11 years, and it's destroyed me from the inside out.

That's Kyle Beach.

He's the pro hockey player who has now stepped forward as the John Doe,

detailing sexual abuse by a coach with the Chicago Blackhawks back in 2010.

And here's National Hockey League Commissioner Gary Bedman, speaking to Kyle's case.

It is clear that what happened was inappropriate.

It was wrong on every level, and it was not handled correctly by the Blackhawks organization.

Today, ESPN NHL reporter Emily Kaplan explains how a team and a league failed one of its own

by covering up abuse and what happens now a decade later, as the truth is told.
