My reaction at the Liverpool be full and 2-0 at Hanfield, which you can still see in the distance behind me.

Really important win.

Could well prove to be a significant three points in this race inverted commas for the top five stroke four spots yeah really really needed that win we have a sort of

unsettled mood heading into the game for a variety of reasons, obviously on-field performances

and results coupled with the recent announcements from the hierarchy in the club, which sort of messages

were sent against those decisions today inside Amfield and rightfully so.

Hopefully they decide they can at least have a bit of dialogue and conversation

around the decisions that have been made but listen that's not what I'm here.

I'm here to talk about the fact we have just picked up three points and we did it

relatively impressively. I'm not going to suggest that this was a perfect performance because it wasn't.

But it was okay.

And there were spells whereby I thought we did look good value and did look like we were sort of recapturing a little bit of confidence and belief

and dare I say but yeah I so make tar that gone um yeah it was good I was pleased um for the

most part I was a bit concerned around the um half an hour mark the first half because I thought

me with a better team for the opening half an hour. But they're all of a sudden, they just got a sense that Fulham started to grow into the game a little bit, started to commit more bodies forward. And I think they started to think they haven't played like three weeks. So maybe there was a little bit of rustiness in the opening exchanges. And they started just to get the sense that they started to think that, all right, we've sort of dealt with the opening bit of the

match and now we think we can have a pop at use. Just started to rain badly here. But we weathered

that. They never really created anything significant in terms of clear-cut chances.

But I was getting ever so slightly worried at that moment

because the frustration in the ground,

there was a very tense atmosphere.

It felt like there were some nerves.
