Hello and welcome to Inside the Huddle.

We are at week seven in the NFL season.

I'm your host, Neil Reynolds.

It's Thursday.

So I'm joined by my regular partner, Phoebe Schechter.

And Phoebe, the wild journey that is the NFL continues.

I mean, the fact that we're going into week seven, I don't know what's happened the first half of this year, where we're at, we're about to hit the last London game.

I mean, in some ways, I am kind of looking forward to like two weeks of not international madness, but this will one day be an every week thing for us. So, but the ups and downs the NFL,

it's the gift that keeps on giving. I picture, I'll give you a visual. When I think about the race

to the Super Bowl, which is in Santa Clara, California, in February, Super Bowl 60.

You know the scene on Black Friday where they open the supermarket doors and everyone races to

buy the cheap TVs? Yeah. And you think there's one guy and he's in front and he thinks he's

going to get it and then he falls over the oranges.

And then there's somebody else who skids around the corner and you think they're in front and then they crash into the cereal boxes.

That's this NFL season.

That is the best analogy ever. Because, you know, it was funny this year, I'm always like one that really complains about the first four weeks the NFL and it looks terrible.

I actually felt better about teams the first four weeks. We hit week five and I was like,

I don't know what who is good? What is happening? We were supposed to know by now and I think that

well let me give you this question then and we can talk about this for a couple of minutes. We've got

some news to get to and we'll pick some games for week seven.

There are 10 of the 15 games being played in week seven from Thursday to Monday.
