Alcohol and or chemical induced taste and forgot. I've probably seen that movie between 10 and 15 times. Wow. Wow. Maybe more. Yeah. You're kind of one of those I circle back around and I put I like to have things on while I'm working background noise.

And if it's something I've seen before, then I can focus more on my work. It's just kind of like having music on. You have a movie on the audio, the dialogue, whatever. You watch a little bit of it. You go back and work. I just like having something on TV while I work. I don't like silence while I work.

Yeah. I got you there. It's it makes sense. And that is a that's one that, you know, I hear you're like pretty famous for your, you know, you're pretty good at reliving old movies doing that from time to time bringing up something I go, damn, I haven't seen that one and forever. I give you credit for that. That's that's one I need to be a little bit better at maybe put some background movies on in my life just to kind of keep track and see the funny scenes from time to time.

Well, and it's either that or rewatch all of the office, which I'm currently doing on peacock, the superfan episodes, which are up to 45 minutes instead of the usual 20 or rewatch sign felt just have sign felt on his back. I'm memorized now. I got each show memorized line by line and sign felt more sign felt more sign felt in the office, but I'm getting there with the office. But yeah, with sign felt I could just break into the dialogue at any given moment. But it's like, you know, you play music that you like.

You know the music. You know the words. You know the sounds you're familiar with it. It's something that's on while you work to have something other than then silence. I just like to have something on all right. Some of you like to have us on for some reason.

This is the picks podcast for week 18. It's still weird time in the NFL. We're trying to move forward at a time when we're primarily concerned about the health and well-being of Demar Hamlin, the mental health of bills and Bengals players who have to go forward.

After witnessing a very traumatic event on Monday night, but the games are going to be played on Sunday, starting on Saturday for week eight team.

And we're here to tell you what we think about what's going to happen. But you know, most weeks we really don't know this week. We definitely don't know because the teams that either have their playoff position locked in or the teams that are done. Who are they going to play?

How long are starters going to play? We just don't know. So usually we're throwing darts anyway, Chris. We're going to be throwing darts even more today without even being sure of dart boards there.

Yeah, that's that's the million dollar question is just, you know, yeah, teams that got it sold or sold up. How invested are they? You got teams that you know, yeah, the years over. Do they want to finish on a high note and build for next year and have something positive?

Or are they like, let's just get the fuck out of this year and get out of this facility in the stadium and and chalk it up. It is, it is the tough thing here. There is. And yeah, there's a few games that I certainly got some question marks and I start here because I'm not exactly sure who's playing what the attitude of the team is and the lines that we are seeing here don't necessarily reflect some of the things that are being said in the media about teams playing too, which makes it dicey and scary as well.

Before we go any farther, we need to have a refreshes to where things currently stand. Yeah, we don't. You know, I wasn't going to skimp past this. Holy crap. 17 weeks in. I'm up by 17 games straight up 18 against the spread. And somehow I'm ahead of you in best bets, even though I am horrible. It helps that you go 0 and 3 for a given week. It really is all season. If you would just done the opposite all season of what we recommended best bets.

You would be scrooge McDuck in a giant room of coins right now. Yes, I it's it's it's the worst year I can ever remember with my picks. It really is. And it just it's you know you get going down and then you start to all well.

I think this is a game that can be an upset for you. I won't pick that. I'll gain ground here and you end up just fucking creating a snowball.

I never think about that though. I never think about where you're going to pick. I never think of it that way. Like this is a chance to make up ground. I just I think of who I did this year. I just think you can't go wrong. Yeah, you can't go wrong. And we both started off. We're a little struggling.

Let's let's move on Saturday. Chiefs at the Las Vegas Raiders. All lines provided by the way by bet MGM chiefs are not going to have point favorites. Chiefs all they got to win. And then the number one seed if if it hasn't been announced yet.

But if Bill's Bengals is canceled and they go by winning percentages. All chiefs have to do is win and they have the one seed Raiders are done. They're cooked. It's over 52 and a half is the over under in this one.

How many points do you think the chiefs win by Chris? Yeah, I'm I'm going to like this is one where I know the chiefs are favored by nine and a half. I know the chiefs. I'm going to say are going to win. Yes, yes, for sure.

But nine and a half for this scenario and everything there. I don't know. I just feel like it's a little much. I think that's what I'm I'm worried about. I mean the chiefs. Yeah. Patrick Mahol has never lost to a team in the AFC West. I'm not going to pick it to happen this weekend. I'm not.
