concussion but had a concussion the entire second half of that game in week 16 and played I mean

Ryan how much longer is this is this going to go on how much longer is he going to be able to play

with this type of stuff going on in terms of like doctors clearing him for games I have no idea I

mean how is how does that happen right I mean the NFL all about all about health and safety right

I don't know I mean my goodness listen I get it like from a player standpoint they're not going

to sprint over to any team doctor or coach and say hey coach you know pull me out of this game

you're going to try and you know fight through it but you you have to be better I mean how does

a quarterback in two different two different situations in one season like play an entire game

their second half of a game completely blacked out with a concussion I mean it's just it's

just not okay and just the long-term effects that he's going to have in the short-term effects

and everything in between so man I don't know what the answer is here or how how you stop this from

happening moving forward yeah I don't know either especially with the lack of accountability on

the coaching staff or the doctors or a team personnel because to your point no player is going to

come out and be like oh I'm injured I'm going to sit on the sidelines and you know send someone

else in to take over for me like this is the NFL this is the a hyper masculine league where you play

through pain you play through any injury you have at all costs to stay on the field and and so

a lot of times you need to it's almost like children like you need an adult to step in and say hey

you know what you're actually not okay and you probably shouldn't be out there because 10-15
