It's Tuesday, October 21st, week seven, in the rear view mirror. So we're heading into week eight of the NFL

season. I thought it would be a good time to talk about the NFL trade deadline and a little bit

about fantasy football trade deadlines as well. So today on the podcast, I want to break down some of

the top candidates to potentially be traded away in terms of skill positions.

It's not a ton of huge names, but there's always a ripple effect if certain players are traded away.

And some of these guys actually could improve in fantasy value if they land in the right spots.

So we'll go through these names just because their names on the list does not mean these guys will be traded. We see that year in and year out. And there really isn't much we can do

right now. But a lot of times with fantasy football, it's kind of like it's a hurry up and wait.

And we wait and we wait and we wait until the exact right moment. And if we're ready to roll,

we can strike quickly.

So more preparation than anything.

Of course, the NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 4th at 4 p.m. Eastern.

I know it's weird, but that's how they roll.

So that is two weeks from now.

We're in week eight.

That will be week 10. So the very beginning of

week 10 is when the trade deadline occurs. Now, what I often see in fantasy football leagues,

though, is the trade deadlines a lot later than that. Like the trade deadlines in like week

11 or even week 12 sometimes. You know, you push it pretty deep into November.

And that creates problems.
