yes we were so uh so looking forward to today because there's a lot of good stuff it's weird

because yesterday in the afternoon uh you know i always like check, especially when I'm doing the show the next day, around 5, 6 o'clock. I like to look at the paper to see what's topical, what's happening, what's going to be the lead story the next day? I go to the New York Post, and at 6 p.m. last night, the lead sports story was Boomer Assayas and rips Juan Soto.

I'm like, uh-oh.

Yeah. So that's a problem for tomorrow because I did that show with him, and I don't think we're going to rehash that. But it's funny because... Was it a rip, though? Oh, for sure. I think if you listen to that first 15 minutes, because I don't think we spoke much about the Mets after that first 15 minutes.

It was, and, you know, he was very harsh on Juan Soto and understandably so.

I pointed out a couple of things I didn't like specifically from yesterday's or Wednesday's game as well.

And then the collective season has been a disappointment. So, so, yeah, say Boomer went after I'm pretty good and rightly so. But, you know, I come in this morning and I'm thinking, all right, there were football games last night, but the locals didn't play. I'm thinking, eh, we're not going to talk about Daniel Jones. No one cares about that. And then a couple of things hit me. We've got the Giants playing in Buffalo

tomorrow night in Green Bay. And there are actually several interesting storylines on what we are
