Hi, the boomer in Geo Friday football picks are presented by Fandall Sportsbook, America's number one sports book and the official sports book of WFAN. Another year, I am a back-to-back champion in the picks going for three in a row. But if it doesn't work out for me this year, I mean, I can just refer back to the last two years and say, hey, it's tough to go, you know, three years in a row as a champion. So the pressure is really on you guys this year as I go for the three-peat. But it was a miserable year for all of us as we were all under 50% win percentage. So it's not something to really crow about. But yeah, there you go. 44-52 and 1 took it down last year. That was pretty tight, man. I didn't realize how tight it was. Yeah, it was tight. You were tight. But there's only one winner. Yep. And that was me. So we start off again, and Celo has his Jerry picks in front of him as well. You're not making your own picks, but you got Jerry's picks. Let's get it going. All right, here we go. Game number one, out to Los Angeles 425.

Kick Rams hosting the Texans,

1:04.7

Houston on the road, getting three. I think that the Rams are a lot of people's sexy pick out there in the West, especially with Matthew Stafford coming back and just the whole Devante Adams thing. And I love the Devante Adams pickup. So I'm going to go with the Rams here. I'll lay the three points against Houston, who I do think will probably win the AFC South when it's all over, said, and done. Yeah, I like the Texans this year. I like a team that was good and then had a down year that no one expected is now coming back for that third year. where a lot of things are the same. Obviously, the offensive coordinator is not. I think they've got a really, really good defense. I think we're going to see a hell of a lot better CJ Stroud this year. And it starts in week one. And who knows what Stafford? I mean, this guy's got to stay healthy for them to have a shot, and that's asking a lot for him as he is climbing up there and age.

Week one, give me an upset, give me the road team, give me the Texans to win and cover.

1:53.1

Early chance for Gio to get a leg up on you guys because Jerry's with Boomer, he's got the Rams.

1:58.0

Game number two, 425 on CBS, big one between the Lions and the Packers at Lambo Field. The Lions on the road are getting two and a half points.

2:06.9

I do expect Michael Parsons to play in this game.

1:58.8

I don't know how much he'll play, but he'll definitely play.

2:01.1

And I think when you make a move like that,

2:03.0

you tell the rest of the locker room that you are an all-end team,

2:05.9

and this is your year.

2:06.9

And I think maybe, as Gio was saying before,

2:09.6

maybe the changes in coaches or something will have an adverse effect on the Lions. And maybe their windows closing a little bit. I don't know. I still think they have one of the better rosters. I'm going to take the home team here. You've got to win the home games like Philadelphia did. And I think the points lead me to believe that Green Bay can win here by a field goal.

2:36.5

Yeah, I think this is my favorite game of the week as far as a pick goes.

2:41.8

Obviously, I hate both these teams, but I love the Green Bay Packers in this one.

2:45.5

If this was six and a half, seven and a half, I take the Green Bay Packers.

2:49.4

This is a Packers team with continuity coming into this season, and they added Micah Parsons. Very exciting. Home game for them. The Lions lost a ton of coaches. They're going to be on the road. They've got to figure different things out. The way their season ended last year was absolutely brutal. I think this is going to be a wake-up call. Smelling Salt Spying.

3:07.8

For the Detroit Lions

3:10.6

and the Packers, the Packers roll big.

3:12.2

Jerry disagrees. He's going Lions

3:15.7

to wipe the stink of that home playoff loss

3:17.3

off. He's got Detroit on the road
