So we know that the NFL owners meetings are coming up at the end of the month.

Talked about them on yesterday's show.

We're talking about a couple of the rule proposals, one from the Pittsburgh Steelers and one from the Cleveland Browns.

Well, then this gem rolled out on Thursday afternoon, and I believe that a lot of folks got pretty concerned when it comes to Raider Nation. This came out on ESPN.com. Matter of fact, Adam Schefter tweeted it out originally, but this story comes from Seth Wickersham and Don Vanetta Jr. And the story is called on ESPN.com. NFL owners set to vote on Raider's succession plan. Oh, right? So everyone got concerned. Like, wait, what does that mean? So this is kind of the nuts and bolts of it. NFL owners are scheduled to vote on a Raider succession plan that will give Silver Lake co-chief executive officer Egon Durbin the option to purchase a majority stake in the team from long-time owner Mark Davis. Again, this is according to Seth Wicker's Sham and Don Vanetta Jr. So a lot of folks were like, oh my goodness, Mark Davis is selling the Raiders. What's going on? Some people were celebrating that. Others were concerned about that because obviously the Raiders have been with the Davis family forever, right? Rocking with Al Davis, passing it on to Mark Davis.

Carol Davis, rest in peace, obviously. And so now Mark Davis is under control of it. He's been under control of it. Yes, there's other minority share owners, including Tom Brady and Richard Seymour and others. So a lot of folks got up and concerned in arms about that. Four sources with knowledge of the situation said that the owners will also vote on Davis selling roughly 7% of the team to Durbin and another limited partner, Michael Meldman.

That sale would put the team's valuation in nearly $10 billion, two of those sources said.

So the Raiders value continues to go up and up and up, and Mark Davis has done a really good job with that ever since making the move to Las Vegas.

And even though it's still a sore spot with the new stadium, with the facilities, being in

Las Vegas, generating all the money that they are. There might not be winning games, but the organization is definitely generating money, hands over fist. So when people say, oh, Mark Davis is poor, that is the furthest thing from the truth. Mark Davis has plenty of money. He continues to generate plenty of money. Now all he's got to do is find some success with

his team on the field. So again, a lot of folks concerned that Mark Davis is selling the team,
